The Story Behind the Decants

Hi, I’m Nawmee.

I recently graduated in CSE from North South University, but somewhere along the way, I got seriously into fragrances.

"My fragrance journey started in 2024 with a bottle of Nautica Voyage. I picked it up pretty randomly, but after the first few sprays, I was hooked. I started getting curious about different perfumes, how they smelled, how long they lasted, and what else was out there."

Not long after, I bought two decants: JPG Le Male Le Parfum and Kenzo Homme EDT Intense. Kenzo wasn’t really for me, so instead of leaving it unused, I put it together with Lattafa Khamrah Qahwa and offered them as a combo.

It sold almost immediately.

That got me thinking. I already had a growing collection, and there were plenty of fragrances I wanted to try. Why not make it easier for other people to explore perfumes without having to buy a full bottle every time?

That’s how NawmeEssences started.

Today, I decant fragrances from my personal collection and use a syringe to measure each one as accurately as possible. The idea is simple: let people try the fragrances they’re curious about in the amount they actually want, before committing to a full bottle.

And honestly, that’s still what I enjoy most about this. Trying new fragrances, sharing the ones I love, and helping other people discover scents they might end up loving too.
